Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs at construction sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company safety standards.
• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to workers and site staff.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation including permits, inspection records, and audit reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to promote a culture of safety.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment by all personnel.
• Liaise with government and regulatory bodies during audits and inspections.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety.
• Certification in Safety.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction safety, preferably in industrial or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, risk management, and emergency response.
• Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and enforce safety protocols effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in high-rise and industrial construction environments.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 and other safety management systems.
• Working knowledge of local labor and safety laws.
